What gives us Courage

We all have fears.  Some we don’t even realize and others that we have carried all our lives.  I recently had the opportunity to be inside of an old fire station that was turned into a home.  I was like a little kid looking at the poles that Firefighter’s used to slide down.  I wanted to do it so badly! When Lisa was done Ghost hunting, the building I was told that I could actually do it.

I ran up the spiral stairs and over to the pole, and then it happened. I looked down and froze.  It was at this moment I came to the realization that I had a fear of heights. The ceilings were unusually high, which made my “fall” incredibly far.  My legs went weak, and in seconds had a rush of weakness, embarrassment, and yes…feeling older.  What happened to the kid running up the stairs? Where was my courage? On top of it all, Lisa was at the bottom with a group of people waiting to film it. UGH!!!

I had to find a way.
There was a pole that was next to this one that was closed up, so I kept climbing that one testing my strength-how it would feel. All of these doubts!!! This incredibly kind man was upstairs with me, telling me (for what seemed like forever) that I could do it.  All I could think of was how muscular he was, and compared myself to him.  This is what we do in moments of fear and it’s ALL false!

After first leaning my upper body against this pole, and then a leg wrapped around it, I thought I would have to walk away.  Finally, Lisa said “What would you say to all the people in Australia  at our Bliss Event that need to believe?” I looked at my dude standing next to me, and he winked and said once more “You can do it”.  It was within seconds that I jumped on that damn pole and scooted all the way down!

I found my courage.
There really isn’t much I wouldn’t do to help or inspire someone.  This is exactly why I set Love as my intention always, because in those times when loving myself isn’t enough to see me through a challenge, loving others is always more that enough. Love will give you the courage!!!

Love is my intention-

    Dear Holly
First of all THANK YOU for coming to Australia—you were wonderful at the event this weekend—Your intention of love is evident for the world to see. I LOVE my ring–I wear it on the same hand as my ‘supercoolhappylovething’ bangle and it’s a constant reminder to set love behind every intention we have.
I had a chuckle at the video blog as I had seen the longer version at the event. I too have a great fear of heights and decided I needed the courage to fight it—–so I did a sky dive ( I was 47 at the time)—–and I told myself I would love every moment of the experience——AND I DID!!!!!!!! –and it set me free!
Please come back and visit us again ( try little Phillip Island—it’s a magical place)
    Love IS my intention. xoxo

    Hi Holly
Thank you and Lisa for a truly wonderful weekend in Australia. I will always remember the video of you coming down the pole. I even got the courage to take my granddaughter on a scary ride at Seaworld while we were there. When we got home to New Zealand none of my family believed I would do it, lucky I had a photo to prove it.
I have reprogrammed my mind, it was surprisingly fast, now all my thinking is based on – LOVE IS MY INTENTION-
Thank you for my pendent, the only way it will come off is when it has worn through.
All the best to you both and Charlie.
    With love
    Karen

HOLLY. WHERE IS MY HOLLY ?

What a great call that was. I want to thankyou for my LIMI ring. It hasnt left my finger, and on a daily basis, I repeat those words to myself. I suprised myself as to how calm i have become, i truly believe that your words, your amazing personality have inspired me. I still cant look into a mirror and say those words, but I do feel much more comfortable with who I am. Thankyou for coming into my life, ever so briefly, but a life long inpression.

    Love is my intention,
    I eagerly await your book,

Thankyou to you both Lisa, Holly and of course the wonderful Charlie.

how valuable it is love being your intention and makes me all gooey. Thank you
and so happy you have a fan page, a blog too & will be writing a book.
My sister had a dream that I gave you an empty page and you drew something on
it and handed it to me. I was holding a pram. Me and the hub are having
fertility challenges at the moment. Thought I’d share that, you may know what
it might mean more than me. Your a beautiful warm light. Sending you lots
of Sunshine from the Gold Coast.
